We delayed the start slightly to enable a small number of members who were glued to the television watching the England game in the bar. Considering the clash with the football, numbers were good at 32 albeit no new faces.

The Vice-Chairman Ian Edwards has worked tirelessly developing 2 very important documents which I shared with you yesterday. They are a Grant Making Policy plus a Safeguarding Policy. We need a minimum of 20 electronic replies endorsing it for it to be approved when applying for Charity status.
We have received correspondence from the team who will be sourcing the HIFU/Focal therapy solutions at the Maelor and the ball is in the court of the management team at the Maelor to develop a local time bound action plan.

I shared the news about the new NHS think tank to address finance, investments and appointment delays. I have written to Andrew Ranger stating they need to get a better balance of attendees. Group member feedback to me is being sought on what key improvements ideas they may have.
I conducted an on the spot audit and asked who many had acted on advice about end of life planning. The answer was zero. WOW
